Hi, I Am Ashley Richardson

I Am A Doberman Lover And Licensed Breeder

Supporting the Doberman Pinscher Club of America
We fully support the DPCA’s position on the albino/white Doberman trait, as we believe in preserving the integrity of the breed. The DPCA has determined that the albinistic trait in the Doberman is deleterious (causing harm or damage) to the breed and should be considered a disqualifying genetic fault (this is described in the DPCA Standard and Code of Ethics).
It is our commitment to adhere to the DPCA Standard and Code of Ethics and discourage the spread of this deleterious trait in Dobermans. Any animal coded with “WZ” as the first two letters of its AKC registration should not be bred, including Albino/white Dobermans and their parents/litter mates. AKC prohibits Albino/white Dobermans from conformation shows, excluding them from being a part of the TOTAL Doberman.
Whether you are looking to raise a Doberman for dog shows and working events, or want to find the perfect Doberman companion for your family, Doberman Fields’ is the place to go.

Who We Are & What We Do

We are a small family business driven by love and admiration for Dobermans.
We want to provide not only the perfect dog, but the perfect pet!
By working with reputable Doberman breeders, kennels, and veterinarians overseas, we can ensure that the families that adopt our dogs have the knowledge they require and that our dogs get the love they deserve.

How We Crop Our European Doberman Puppies

We take  our Doberman Puppies to get cropped between 9-11 weeks of age.
The veterinarian uses a running stitch from the top to the bottom of the ear.
The ears are then taped side by side on the top of the head with a piece of pool noodle in between the head and ears. (Taping the ears on top of the head keeps them from being chewed on by the litter mates, and makes it easier to keep them clean while they are healing.) The piece of pool noodle keeps the ears stretched and helps prepare them for posting after they are completely healed.
We remove the stitches from our Doberman Puppies after 7 days, and they remain taped this way for approximately 2 weeks. The puppies ears are usually completely healed and ready to be posted 20 days after the surgery.
We Prefer to keep our Doberman Puppies until the after care of the Ear Cropping is finished.
